Tour Plan
01Day 1 – Kochi to Delhi – Arrival & First Feel of the Capital
Your tour begins at Kochi airport, where you board a direct or connecting flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, our representative meets you at the airport, helps you with your bags and escorts you to your private air‑conditioned car. The drive to your hotel gives you a first look at North India – wider roads, busy traffic, office crowds and street food stalls.
After check‑in, the rest of the day is free. You can relax at the hotel, or, if your flight arrives early, step out for a short walk around Connaught Place or a nearby market for a first taste of Delhi’s street food and atmosphere.
Overnight in Delhi.
02Day 2 – Old & New Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, you spend the full day exploring Old Delhi and New Delhi with a local guide. In Old Delhi, you visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, and then sit in a cycle‑rickshaw for a ride through Chandni Chowk, a maze of narrow lanes filled with spice shops, saree stores, jewellers and food stalls. You also stop at Raj Ghat, the peaceful riverside memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
In the afternoon, you move into New Delhi’s wide avenues and monuments. You drive past India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House), visit Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful garden tomb that inspired the Taj Mahal, and then head to the Qutub Minar complex with its tall stone tower and historic ruins. By evening you return to your hotel, having seen both the old and modern face of the capital.
Overnight in Delhi.
03Day 3 – Delhi to Agra – Taj Mahal & Agra Fort
In the morning you check out and drive from Delhi to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, a smooth three to four hour journey. On arrival you check in at your hotel and take some time to freshen up.
Later you visit the Taj Mahal, the world‑famous marble monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz. Your guide explains the love story, the symmetry and the fine inlay work as you walk through the garden and up to the main platform. You then explore Agra Fort, a huge complex of palaces and courtyards that once served as the main Mughal residence and offers distant views of the Taj across the river. In the evening you can visit a local handicraft shop for marble inlay, leather goods or carpets, or simply relax at your hotel.
Overnight in Agra.
04Day 4 – Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, you leave Agra and drive towards Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. About an hour outside Agra you stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the beautifully preserved red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar and later abandoned. You walk through its grand gateways, courtyards and audience halls while your guide shares stories about why this impressive capital was created and why it was left empty.
From Fatehpur Sikri the road continues through rural Rajasthan to Jaipur, where you arrive by late afternoon or early evening. You check in at your hotel and have the rest of the evening free to rest, enjoy the hotel, or step out for a short walk and simple dinner in the city.
Overnight in Jaipur.
05Day 5 – Jaipur Sightseeing – Amber Fort & Pink City Highlights
Today you discover the main sights of Jaipur. After breakfast, you drive out to Amber Fort, set on a hill overlooking a lake and the old town. A jeep takes you up to the entrance, and from there you explore courtyards, mirror‑work halls and royal rooms, with views over the surrounding hills.
Back in the city you visit the City Palace, still home to the former royal family and partly a museum, and Jantar Mantar, the 18th‑century observatory with large stone instruments used to measure time and the position of the stars. You also stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photos of its famous pink lattice windows. If time allows, you can browse Jaipur’s markets for block‑printed textiles, jewellery, blue pottery and souvenirs before returning to your hotel.
Overnight in Jaipur.
06Day 6 – Jaipur to Delhi – Flight Back to Kochi or Onward
On your final day, you have breakfast at the hotel and check out at a convenient time. You then drive back to Delhi by road (about five to six hours), with comfort stops along the way, or, if you prefer and your package includes it, you can take a short domestic flight from Jaipur to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you connect to your return flight back to Kochi or onwards to your next destination.
Your 6 Days Golden Triangle Tour from Kochi ends with memories of Delhi’s busy bazaars, the Taj Mahal in Agra and the royal pink streets of Jaipur – a complete Golden Triangle experience neatly linked to your Kerala trip
